My story
Supporting people and organisations to achieve their potential has been central to my life for many years.
I am an experienced senior executive, coach, trainer, communications professional and creative writer, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, with a degree in Scriptwriting for Film and TV and an MBA.

I am passionate about working with individuals and organisations to help them realise their potential, supporting them to determine exactly what they want to achieve, what success will look like and how they will deliver and communicate it.
I first discovered my passion for coaching and training in leadership, career development and communications over fifteen years ago when I was running development workshops for groups of staff who were new to people management. Some had great management skills but lacked confidence; others had bags of confidence, but just weren’t sure how or even if they could be the leader they wanted to be, as opposed to the one they thought the business wanted. That was the beginning of coaching some amazing people who have gone on to do extraordinary things.

I went on to become an NLP practitioner and coach while also progressing my career as a leader and senior executive in the British Civil Service and wider public sector. I managed numerous projects and programmes, and developed policy and strategies that helped transform organisations and lives, often supporting the most vulnerable in society. I also worked with high profile politicians and business leaders, giving me a real insight into how people achieve success under intense scrutiny and pressure.

At the same time, I was developing a successful second career as a creative writer – ultimately specialising in TV drama scriptwriting – and winning one or two awards along the way.
​
I then focussed on creating and leading corporate communications services, managing and developing large teams, advising and supporting senior corporate leaders and politicians on everything from strategy and messaging to crisis management, and ultimately becoming a Director of Communications with a Government Agency.
Having also now trained in CBT and hypnotherapy, I now use all of my past experience to help people and businesses grow, develop and achieve sustainable personal and organisational success. I split my time between my coaching practice, the services you see on this site, my writing and bespoke interim management roles.

I focus on creating authentic, values-based connections and helping people like you to achieve the impactful change and results you want. Over my career I have helped hundreds of people to embrace the art of the possible and succeed in ways they never thought they could.

Recent interim assignments include:

putting in place a new learning and leadership development academy and corporate strategic framework for an emergency services body

developing and implementing new planning, strategy and performance frameworks and target operating models in higher education.
I work with people from all kinds of backgrounds. But the thing my clients have in common is that they want to be the best they can be and are driven to do work and lead lives that are both fulfilling and make a difference for others.
